Our Civil Engineering services specialise in designing and installing structural supports for HVAC Central Plant Equipment, including Chillers, Heat Pumps, Cooling Towers, Pumps, and Boilers. We are adept at building and designing plant rooms for new equipment, as well as refurbishing and ensuring the structural integrity of existing plants and plant rooms.
Systems that do not function correctly will affect tenants and staff in the building. AMS works with interior designers, engineers and fitout contractors to ensure system design is both efficient and functional; can adapt to the future changing needs of customers as tenancy design evolves and changes over time in a cost-effective manner.
With such diversity in our technical knowledge, we are able to accommodate and provide the appropriate team to undertake all mechanical services works. We also utilise an advanced asset management recording system and bar coding technology to track all plant items details and history.
Working with control companies, AMS's highly skilled technicians can fine tune plant operation to fine tune operations. Some of the benefits of this service are consistent temperatures across building premises, fewer complaints from tenants and potentially reduced energy costs and improved plant life.
AMS employs in house mechanical electricians; Australian licensed and certified. This enables all works, be it service & maintenance, fit out, any new installation works to be completed in house. This means scheduling of works is seamless, no waiting on other subcontractors and works are undertaken to all Australia standards.
Ground water has a reasonably constant temperature depending on the depth underground. In Perth, at a depth of approximately 50 metres, water temperature is 22 - 24 degrees year-round, whereas deeper wells have a much higher temperature. We offer Geothermal services.
Building controls systems are on the leading edge of technological change and will become redundant much more quickly than main items of plant. Plant efficiency could be improved as are comfort levels in buildings. Life expectancy is also improved and building staff will have higher comfort levels.
Performance contracting is an alternative and risk-free way of raising the necessary upgrade capital, allowing customers to re-invest in their properties without interrupting a properties cash flow or affecting investment value. We can offer advantages like improvement of NABERS rating and sustainable savings over 20 years.
Programmed Preventative Maintenance is the scheduled maintenance of plant and equipment to ensure that the equipment is operating correctly and to therefore avoid any unscheduled breakdown and downtime. PPM is pre-programmed with maintenance being undertaken for every items separately according to manufacturer's recommendation.
AMS employs in-house refrigeration mechanics to attend to all commercial refrigeration requirements of clients in contracted buildings. We do repairs, replacement and upgrades to ice makers, specialised control and cool rooms and bar & kitchen refrigeration equipment.
